Testing the black disk limit in $pp$ collisions at very high energy
P. Brogueira, J. Dias de Deus

TL;DR
This paper investigates whether proton-proton collisions at very high energies approach the black disk limit by analyzing geometric scaling invariants of the elastic scattering amplitude.
Contribution
It introduces a method using geometric scaling invariants to assess the approach to the black disk limit in high-energy $pp$ collisions.
Findings
Analysis of elastic scattering amplitudes relative to the black disk limit.
Assessment of real and imaginary parts' approach to the limit.
Insights into high-energy proton collision behavior.
Abstract
We use geometric scaling invariant quantities to measure the approach, or not, of the imaginary and real parts of the elastic scattering amplitude, to the black disk limit, in collisions at very high energy.
