CHICOM: A code of tests for comparing unweighted and weighted histograms and two weighted histograms
Nikolai Gagunashvili

TL;DR
This paper introduces CHICOM, a Fortran-77 program that computes test statistics for comparing unweighted and weighted histograms, including cases with normalized and unnormalized weights, aiding statistical analysis in data comparison.
Contribution
The paper provides a self-contained Fortran-77 tool for statistical comparison of histograms with different weighting schemes, filling a gap in existing analysis methods.
Findings
Enables comparison of weighted and unweighted histograms.
Supports normalized and unnormalized weights.
Provides a practical tool for statistical tests in data analysis.
Abstract
A self-contained Fortran-77 program for calculating test statistics to compare weighted histogram with unweighted histogram and two histograms with weighted entries is presented. The code calculates test statistics for cases of histograms with normalized weights of events and unnormalized weights of events.
