TL;DR
This paper develops a method to supersymmetrize higher kinetic terms and successfully applies it to extend the baby Skyrme model with N=1 supersymmetry, accommodating arbitrary potentials.
Contribution
It introduces a novel method for supersymmetrizing higher kinetic terms and constructs N=1 supersymmetric extensions of the baby Skyrme model with arbitrary potentials.
Findings
Existence of N=1 supersymmetric extensions for baby Skyrme models.
Method to supersymmetrize higher kinetic terms.
Extensions applicable to models with arbitrary potentials.
Abstract
We construct a method to supersymmetrize higher kinetic terms and apply it to the baby Skyrme model. We find that there exist N=1 supersymmetric extensions for baby Skyrme models with arbitrary potential.
