Si-Hai Yu, Bao-Kai Wang, Wei-Zhen Deng, Xiao-Lin Chen

TL;DR
This paper investigates the structure of heavy molecular states like X(3872) within the quark model, emphasizing meson exchange interactions between light quarks to understand their formation and properties.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed quark model approach incorporating meson exchange to analyze heavy molecular states, extending previous studies to include B meson systems.
Findings
Identification of potential molecular states with meson exchange interactions
Insights into the binding mechanisms of charmonium-like and bottomonium-like states
Predictions of possible molecular configurations for experimental verification
Abstract
Some charmonium-like resonances such as X(3872) can be interpreted as possible molecular states. Within the quark model, we study the structure of such molecular states and the similar molecular states by taking into account of the light meson exchange (, , , and ) between two light quarks from different mesons.
