TL;DR
This paper uses a relativistic potential model to calculate the properties of B and D mesons, including their masses and decay constants, aligning well with experimental data and aiding decay studies.
Contribution
It provides a numerical solution for the wave functions, masses, and decay constants of B and D mesons within a relativistic potential framework, updating previous models.
Findings
Masses and decay constants match experimental data
Wave functions are obtained for decay analysis
Model offers a reliable tool for meson decay studies
Abstract
With the decay constants of and mesons measured in experiment recently, we revisit the study of the bound states of quark and antiquark in and mesons in the relativistic potential model. The relativistic bound state wave equation is solved numerically. The masses, decay constants and wave functions of and mesons are obtained. Both the masses and decay constants obtained here can be consistent with the experimental data. The wave functions can be used in the study of and meson decays.
