Sneha Malde, Guy Wilkinson

TL;DR
This paper proposes a time-dependent analysis of specific D0 decay modes to measure the mixing parameter y with precision comparable to existing methods, utilizing recent coherence and phase measurements.
Contribution
It introduces a novel inclusive analysis method for D0-D0bar mixing using decay modes and recent coherence and phase data, enhancing measurement precision.
Findings
Demonstrates competitive precision in measuring y
Utilizes recent CLEO measurements of coherence and phase
Proposes an inclusive analysis approach for mixing studies
Abstract
We demonstrate how a time-dependent analysis of the decays can be used to determine the mixing parameter with a precision that is competitive with established methods. The proposed analysis is an inclusive study which makes use of the measurements of the coherence factor and mean strong phase difference for these decays recently performed by CLEO.
