Nobuyuki Fukui, Kei-Ichi Kondo, Akihiro Shibata, Toru Shinohara

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a specific two-instanton solution in four-dimensional Euclidean SU(2) Yang-Mills theory creates a circular magnetic monopole loop, revealing a deep connection between instantons and monopoles.
Contribution
It establishes a direct link between Jackiw-Nohl-Rebbi two-instanton solutions and magnetic monopole loops in Yang-Mills theory, a novel insight into topological field configurations.
Findings
A Jackiw-Nohl-Rebbi two-instanton generates a circular magnetic monopole loop.
The study connects instanton solutions with magnetic monopole structures.
Provides a new perspective on topological objects in gauge theories.
Abstract
We show that a Jackiw-Nohl-Rebbi solution, as the most general two-instanton, generates a circular loop of magnetic monopole in four-dimensional Euclidean SU(2) Yang-Mills theory.
