On the variational homotopy perturbation method for nonlinear oscillators
Francisco M. Fern\'andez

TL;DR
This paper critically examines a variational homotopy perturbation method applied to nonlinear oscillators, highlighting inconsistencies in the main equations that undermine its practical utility.
Contribution
The paper identifies fundamental inconsistencies in the variational homotopy perturbation method when applied to simple nonlinear oscillators.
Findings
Main equations are inconsistent
Results have limited utility due to theoretical issues
Highlights need for method refinement
Abstract
In this paper we discuss a recent application of a variational homotopy perturbation method to rather simple nonlinear oscillators . We show that the main equations are inconsistent and for that reason the results may be of scarce utility.
