TL;DR
This paper introduces a Network Coding module for the WSNet wireless sensor network simulator, enabling flexible implementation of various coding strategies through a generic programming interface.
Contribution
It provides the first implementation of a modular Network Coding framework within WSNet, facilitating research and experimentation with different coding techniques.
Findings
Supports multiple coding strategies including random and source/destination-oriented
Enables easy customization and extension of coding algorithms
Enhances WSNet's capabilities for network coding research
Abstract
This technical report presents the implementation of a Network Coding module in WSNet - a Wireless Sensor Network simulator. This implementation provides a generic programming interface to allow an easy specialization of different coding strategies: random, source/destination-oriented, intra/inter-flow, etc.
