p-brane dynamics in (N+1)-dimensional FRW universes: a unified framework
L. Sousa, P.P. Avelino

TL;DR
This paper introduces a unified velocity-dependent one-scale model for p-brane dynamics in (N+1)-dimensional FRW universes, deriving scaling laws for different regimes and phases.
Contribution
It presents a novel unified framework for modeling p-brane dynamics in various cosmological backgrounds, including both expanding and collapsing phases.
Findings
Derived scaling laws for p-branes in different regimes
Unified model applicable to flat homogeneous and isotropic backgrounds
Analyzed both frictionless and friction dominated regimes
Abstract
We develop a velocity-dependent one-scale model describing p-brane dynamics in flat homogeneous and isotropic backgrounds in a unified framework. We find the corresponding scaling laws in frictionless and friction dominated regimes considering both expanding and collapsing phases.
