Jan Germer, Wolfgang Hollik, Edoardo Mirabella

TL;DR
This paper calculates electroweak contributions to bottom-squark pair production at the LHC within the MSSM, highlighting their numerical significance across various supersymmetric scenarios.
Contribution
It provides the first complete NLO electroweak calculation for bottom-squark pair production in the MSSM.
Findings
Electroweak contributions can significantly affect production rates.
The impact varies depending on supersymmetric parameters.
Results aid in more accurate SUSY searches at the LHC.
Abstract
We present the complete computation of the tree-level and the next-to-leading order electroweak contributions to bottom-squark pair production at the LHC. The computation is performed within the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model. We discuss the numerical impact of these contributions in several supersymmetric scenarios.
