Elliptic flow in pp-collisions at the LHC
S.M. Troshin, N.E. Tyurin

TL;DR
This paper investigates how large initial orbital angular momentum in proton-proton collisions at LHC energies influences elliptic flow, a collective effect observed in high-energy physics.
Contribution
It introduces a novel perspective on the role of initial orbital angular momentum in shaping elliptic flow in pp-collisions at the LHC.
Findings
Orbital angular momentum impacts elliptic flow behavior.
Collective effects are linked to initial state angular momentum.
New mechanisms for flow in small systems are proposed.
Abstract
We consider collective effects in pp-collisions at the LHC energies related to presence of the large orbital angular momentum in the initial state and role of this orbital momentum in the elliptic flow behavior.
