Synchronization of the cardiac pacemaker model with delayed pulse-coupling
Marat Akhmet

TL;DR
This paper studies how cardiac pacemaker models synchronize when coupled with delays, providing conditions under which synchronization occurs for both identical and different oscillators.
Contribution
It introduces sufficient conditions for synchronization in a delayed pulse-coupled cardiac pacemaker model, applicable to both identical and non-identical oscillators.
Findings
Synchronization conditions established for identical oscillators
Synchronization conditions established for non-identical oscillators
Applicable to models with delayed pulsatile coupling
Abstract
We consider the integrate-and-fire model of the cardiac pacemaker with delayed pulsatile coupling. Sufficient conditions of synchronization are obtained for identical and non-identical oscillators.
