TL;DR
This paper derives a closed-form analytical solution for self-resonances in short Josephson tunnel junctions, including the modern case of 0-π junctions, providing an alternative to traditional series expansion methods.
Contribution
It introduces a novel closed-form solution for self-resonances in short Josephson junctions, expanding applicability to 0-π junctions and offering an alternative to existing series expansion approaches.
Findings
Closed-form solution for self-resonances derived.
Applicable to 0-π Josephson junctions.
Provides an alternative to series expansion methods.
Abstract
We present a closed form solution for the self-resonances in a short Josephson tunnel junction. This solution is alternative to the well known textbook result \cite{Barone,Kulik} based on a series expansion. Results are derived for the up-to-date case of a junction.
