Sigma and Pion Decays of Mixed Heavy Hybrids
Leonard S. Kisslinger, Dara J. Krute (Carnegie Mellon University)

TL;DR
This paper estimates the decay branching ratio of a mixed hybrid charmonium state, specifically the $\sigma$ to 2$\pi$ decay, using the external field method, and finds results consistent with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a method to estimate decay ratios of mixed heavy hybrid mesons using correlators and the external field approach.
Findings
The $\sigma$ to 2$\pi$ branching ratio for $\Psi'(2S)$ is approximately 0.98.
Results agree with experimental measurements at IHEP-BES.
Supports the mixed hybrid nature of $\Psi'(2S)$.
Abstract
We estimate the relative branching ratio of to 2 for the decay of the , which we have found to be a mixed charm and hybrid charmonium meson. The external field method and correlators from a previous calculation are used to estimate these decays. We find the to 2 branching ratio for to the decay to be 0.98, in agreement with an experiment at IHEP-BES.
