Unexpected transparency in the scattering of fragile $^{6}$Li and $^{6}$He Nuclei
F. Michel, S. Ohkubo

TL;DR
This paper investigates the unexpected transparency observed in the scattering of fragile $^{6}$Li nuclei from $^{12}$C and $^{16}$O, highlighting significant internal-wave contributions and suggesting similar transparency might occur with $^{6}$He.
Contribution
It reveals unexpected transparency in scattering involving fragile nuclei and emphasizes the role of internal-wave contributions, providing new insights into nuclear scattering phenomena.
Findings
$^{6}$Li scattering shows unexpected transparency.
Internal-wave contributions are significantly large.
Transparency could persist in $^{6}$He scattering.
Abstract
It is found that the scattering of the fragile nucleus Li from C and O is unexpectedly transparent. It is shown that the internal-wave contribution is significantly large in the scattering, which suggests that some transparency could persist in the scattering involving the fragile nucleus He.
