Generalized thermodynamic uncertainty relations
Grzegorz Wilk, Zbigniew Wlodarczyk

TL;DR
This paper introduces a generalized relation connecting fluctuations of energy, temperature, and multiplicity in thermodynamic ensembles using nonextensive statistics, extending Lindhard's uncertainty relations.
Contribution
It proposes a new unified relation that accounts for simultaneous fluctuations of multiple thermodynamic variables, broadening the scope of existing uncertainty principles.
Findings
Derived a generalized thermodynamic uncertainty relation
Connected fluctuations of energy, temperature, and multiplicity
Extended Lindhard's relations to nonextensive statistics
Abstract
We analyze ensemble in which energy (E), temperature (T) and multiplicity (N) can all fluctuate and with the help of nonextensive statistics we propose a relation connecting all fluctuating variables. It generalizes Lindhard's thermodynamic uncertainty relations known in literature.
