Equations for two-phase flows: a primer
Andrea Dziubek

TL;DR
This paper provides a comprehensive review of the equations governing two-phase flows with interfaces, emphasizing the proper inclusion of surface tension effects in the interface balance equations.
Contribution
It offers a self-contained overview of two-phase flow equations, highlighting the correct incorporation of surface tension into interface dynamics.
Findings
Clarifies the formulation of interface equations with surface tension
Provides a unified presentation of two-phase flow models
Serves as a foundational reference for further research
Abstract
The main goal of these notes is to give a review of the equations for two phase flow problems with an interface between the two phases in a self-contained way, and, in particular, to properly include surface tension into the interface balance equations.
