Concezio Bozzi (on behalf of the Babar, Belle Collaborations)

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent measurements of inclusive charmless semileptonic B meson decays, focusing on recoil techniques and presenting preliminary CKM matrix element estimates from multiple theoretical models.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of experimental results on B to X_u l nu decays using recoil methods and compares different theoretical calculations for |V_{ub}| extraction.
Findings
Preliminary averages of |V_{ub}| are presented.
Recoil techniques enable phase space region analysis.
Multiple theoretical models are used for |V_{ub}| estimation.
Abstract
Recent results on inclusive charmless semileptonic decays of B mesons are reviewed. Emphasis is given to measurements on the recoil of fully reconstructed B mesons, which allow to exploit several regions of phase space. Preliminary averages of the CKM matrix element from the Heavy Flavour Working Group are shown, using four different theoretical calculations.
