Contribution
It offers a handlebody depiction of the Hacon-Pardini surface, elucidating its geometric construction from product surfaces and involutions.
Findings
Handlebody representation of the Hacon-Pardini surface
Explicit quotient construction from product of genus 2 and 3 surfaces
Insight into the surface's geometric structure
Abstract
We draw a handlebody picture of the Hacon-Pardini surface. This is a complex surface obtained by taking the quotient of a product of two surfaces of genus 2 and 3, under the product of two involutions: the hypergeometric and a fixed point free involution.
