Muon Signals of Very Light CP-odd Higgs states of the NMSSM at the LHC
Mosleh Almarashi, Stefano Moretti

TL;DR
This paper investigates the potential to detect very light CP-odd Higgs bosons of the NMSSM via di-muon decay channels at the LHC, highlighting the possibility of observing signals despite low event rates.
Contribution
It provides an analysis of the di-muon decay mode of a light CP-odd Higgs in the NMSSM, demonstrating the feasibility of detection at the LHC with high luminosity.
Findings
Significant signals can be extracted from the SM background at the LHC.
Detection is possible despite small event rates.
High luminosity enhances the observability of the signal.
Abstract
We study here the di-muon decay mode of a very light CP-odd Higgs boson of the NMSSM, a1, produced in association with a bottom-antibottom pair and find that, despite small event rates, a significant signal should be extractable from the SM background at the LHC with high luminosity.
