Singular tropical hypersurfaces
Alicia Dickenstein, Luis F. Tabera

TL;DR
This paper investigates singular points on tropical hypersurfaces of any dimension, providing characterizations, algorithms for computation, and insights into non-transversal intersections of tropical curves.
Contribution
It introduces a characterization of singular points via tropical Euler derivatives and presents an algorithm to identify all singular points.
Findings
Characterization of singular points using tropical Euler derivatives
Algorithm for computing all singular points on tropical hypersurfaces
Description of non-transversal intersection points of planar tropical curves
Abstract
We study the notion of singular tropical hypersurfaces of any dimension. We characterize the singular points in terms of tropical Euler derivatives and we give an algorithm to compute all singular points. We also describe non-transversal intersection points of planar tropical curves.
