Interaction between phantom field and modified Chaplygin gas
Surajit Chattopadhyay, Ujjal Debnath

TL;DR
This paper investigates the interaction between a phantom field and modified Chaplygin gas in a flat FRW universe, showing that their dynamics can lead to crossing the w=-1 boundary, with potentials increasing over cosmic time.
Contribution
It introduces a model of dark energy involving interaction between phantom field and modified Chaplygin gas, demonstrating potential growth and w=-1 crossing.
Findings
Potential of phantom field increases over time
The model achieves crossing of w=-1
Field and potential tend to increase with cosmic evolution
Abstract
In this letter, we have considered a flat FRW universe. Instead of considering only one candidate for dark energy, we have considered interaction between phantom field and modified Chaplygin gas. It has been shown that the potential of the phantom field increases from a lower value with evolution of the Universe. It has been observed that, the field has an increasing tendency and potential has also an increasing tendency with passage of cosmic time. In the evolution of the universe the crossing of has been realized by this interacting model.
