TL;DR
This paper investigates the existence of stable doubly charmed four-quark mesons using a quark model and variational methods, predicting a specific isoscalar state with quantum numbers $J^P=1^+$.
Contribution
It introduces a variational approach to solve the four-quark Schrödinger equation with various potentials, providing new insights into doubly charmed meson stability.
Findings
Prediction of a stable isoscalar doubly charmed four-quark meson
Identification of the quantum numbers $J^P=1^+$ for the stable state
Use of different interacting potentials to analyze meson stability
Abstract
Doubly charmed mesons are studied within a quark model framework. We solve the four-quark Schor\"dinger equation by means of a variational approach by using different interacting potentials. Our results point to the existence of a stable isoscalar doubly charmed four-quark meson with quantum numbers .
