Measurements of |Vus| and Searches for Violation of Lepton Universality and CPT in Tau Decays at BaBar
Alberto Lusiani

TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of |Vus| and tests of lepton universality and CPT symmetry in tau decays using BaBar data, providing insights into Standard Model validity and potential new physics.
Contribution
It presents new experimental results on |Vus| and lepton universality and CPT tests in tau decays, utilizing BaBar data for the first time in this context.
Findings
Measured |Vus| with improved precision
No violation of lepton universality observed
No CPT violation detected in tau decays
Abstract
Using data collected with the BaBar detector at PEP-II at SLAC, we report on several tau lepton measurements that are used to determine the modulus of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element Vus, and to check the Standard Model predictions of lepton universality and CPT conservation.
