Fraction of Strong Barred Galaxies (SB) in groups in the Nearby Universe, 0 < z < 0.066, as a function of redshift
J. Antonio Garcia-Barreto

TL;DR
This study investigates how the proportion of strongly barred galaxies varies with redshift in nearby galaxy groups and clusters, providing insights into galaxy evolution.
Contribution
It offers the first comprehensive analysis of strong barred galaxy fractions across multiple groups and clusters at low redshift.
Findings
Fraction of SB galaxies varies with redshift.
Provides statistical estimates for galaxy groups and clusters.
Enhances understanding of galaxy morphological evolution.
Abstract
An analysis of 913 groups of galaxies and 56 Abell clusters from the literature has been made in order to estimate the mean of the fraction of strong barred galaxies SB/(S+SB) in the redshift interval 0 < z < 0.066
