Polarization Entangled Photons at X-Ray Energies
S. Shwartz, S. E. Harris

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the generation of polarization-entangled photon pairs at x-ray energies through spontaneous parametric down conversion, enabling control over Bell states via incident angle and polarization.
Contribution
It introduces a method to produce polarization-entangled x-ray photons and shows how to generate all four Bell states by adjusting experimental parameters.
Findings
Polarization-entangled x-ray photon pairs can be generated via SPDC.
All four Bell states are achievable with specific incident angles and polarizations.
The method opens new possibilities for quantum information at x-ray energies.
Abstract
We show that polarization entangled photons at x-ray energies can be generated via spontaneous parametric down conversion. Each of the four Bell states can be generated by choosing the angle of incidence and polarization of the pumping beam.
