Ground state properties in non-relativistic QED
David Hasler, Ira Herbst

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent findings on the ground state properties of non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics, focusing on how they depend on the magnetic coupling and fine structure constants.
Contribution
It presents new results on the ground state behavior in non-relativistic QED as functions of key physical constants.
Findings
Ground state properties depend on the magnetic coupling constant.
Ground state properties depend on the fine structure constant.
Results are based on recent mathematical analyses.
Abstract
We discuss recent results concerning the ground state of non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics as a function of a magnetic coupling constant or the fine structure constant, obtained by the authors in [12,13,14].
