A.Yu. Buki, I.S. Timchenko

TL;DR
This paper reanalyzes 1982 Mainz electron scattering data on 12C, revealing a systematic overestimation and comparing model-independent and shell model form factors within a specific momentum transfer range.
Contribution
It provides a model-independent reanalysis of historical data, highlighting a systematic overestimation in previous measurements.
Findings
Identified a 3% systematic overestimation in Mainz data
Compared form factors from different models within the specified momentum range
Validated the consistency of charge density distribution models
Abstract
The results obtained in Mainz in 1982 year were check up. The analysis of data from this work was made at momentum transfer range using the model independent form factor (the expansion of form factor in a power series of ) and the form factor corresponding to the distribution of charge density in the shell model framework. We found a 3% systematical overestimation in Mainz data.
