Topologically Massive Gravity from the Outside In
Colin Cunliff

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the asymptotic solutions of cosmological topologically massive gravity (TMG) for various mass parameters, revealing the need for new terms in the expansion and exploring the structure of solutions.
Contribution
It introduces a new term in the Fefferman-Graham expansion for TMG at non-chiral values and characterizes the solution space using CDWW modes with nonlinear corrections.
Findings
A new term is required in the Fefferman-Graham expansion for non-chiral TMG.
CDWW modes form a basis for pure non-Einstein solutions across all μ.
Nonlinear corrections to solutions appear at higher orders in the expansion.
Abstract
The asymptotic solutions of cosmological topologically massive gravity (TMG) are analyzed for values of the mass parameter in the range . At non-chiral values, a new term in the Fefferman-Graham expansion is needed to capture the bulk degree of freedom. The CDWW modes provide a basis for the pure non-Einstein solutions at all , with nonlinear corrections appearing at higher order in the expansion.
