Exotic, LFV and LNV Decays at the B Factories
Gagan B. Mohanty

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent experimental results from Belle and BaBar on exotic, lepton flavor violating, and lepton number violating decays of B, D mesons, and tau leptons, highlighting advances in understanding rare decay processes.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive summary of the latest experimental searches for LFV and LNV decays at B factories, including results from other experiments where relevant.
Findings
No significant evidence for LFV or LNV decays was observed.
Stringent upper limits were set on branching ratios of various rare decays.
Results constrain new physics models predicting such exotic decays.
Abstract
I review the latest results on exotic, lepton flavor violating (LFV) and lepton number violating (LNV) decays of the B, D mesons and the tau leptons, obtained at the two B-factory experiments, Belle and BaBar. Where appropriate, results from other experiments are also described.
