D. I. Astakhov, D.V. Kirpichnikov

TL;DR
This paper explores the potential for detecting extra-dimensional physics through the process e+e- → gamma + nothing, comparing predictions from RS2-n and ADD models with Standard Model backgrounds.
Contribution
It introduces phenomenological predictions for photon plus missing energy signals from extra dimensions in RS2-n and ADD models, analyzing their distinguishability from Standard Model backgrounds.
Findings
RS2-n predicts observable photon + missing energy signals at high energies.
Comparison shows differences between RS2-n, ADD, and Standard Model backgrounds.
Potential for collider experiments to detect extra-dimensional effects.
Abstract
We consider phenomenological consequences of RS2-n model with infinite extra dimension, namely, the production, in high energy collisions, of a photon or Z-boson escaping from our brane in association with a photon remaining on the brane. This would show up as process nothing. We compare the signal with the Standard Model background coming from . We also make a comparison with nothing in the ADD model.
