TL;DR
This paper explores various generalizations of quantum discord beyond projective measurements, analyzing their properties, nonnegativity, and zero-discord sets to deepen understanding of quantum correlations.
Contribution
It introduces and investigates new forms of quantum discord based on general measurements, extending the original concept and analyzing their properties.
Findings
All generalized quantum discords are nonnegative.
Characterization of zero-discord states for each generalization.
Properties and differences among the various quantum discord measures.
Abstract
The original definition of quantum discord of bipartite states was defined over projective measurements, in this paper we discuss some generalizations of it. These generalizations are defined over general measurements, rank-one general measurements or Neumark extension measurements. We investigate the nonnegativity, zero-discord sets of all these quantum discords and some properties about them.
