Dynamic Resource Coordination and Interference Management for Femtocell Networks
Yan Liang, Chengling Jiang, Chunliang Yang

TL;DR
This paper proposes a resource coordination scheme for femtocell networks to reduce interference, enhancing indoor coverage and capacity by broadcasting coordination requests from femto mobiles.
Contribution
It introduces a novel resource coordination method based on broadcasting requests, addressing interference issues in femtocell deployments.
Findings
Reduced interference through the proposed coordination scheme
Improved indoor coverage and capacity
Effective interference management in femtocell networks
Abstract
Femtocell is emerging as a key technology to secure the coverage and capacity in indoor environments. However the deployment of a new femtocell layer may originate undesired interference to the whole system. This paper investigates spectrum resource coordination and interference management for the femtocell networks. A resource coordination scheme based on broadcasting resource coordination request messages by the femto mobile is proposed to reduce the system interference.
