Charge and CP asymmetries of $B_q$ meson in unparticle physics
Chuan-Hung Chen, C. S. Kim, Run-Hui Li

TL;DR
This paper explores how scalar unparticle physics could explain the observed charge asymmetry in B meson oscillations, proposing scenarios where unparticles significantly enhance CP violation effects beyond the Standard Model predictions.
Contribution
It introduces two scenarios of unparticle couplings affecting B meson CP violation, demonstrating potential to match experimental charge asymmetry observations.
Findings
Scenario I shows limited impact on charge asymmetry due to constraints.
Scenario II allows significant enhancement of charge asymmetry.
The parameter space in Scenario II aligns with current experimental data.
Abstract
Recently the D{\O} Collaboration reported an observation of like-sign charge asymmetry (CA), which is about deviation from the standard model (SM) prediction. Inspired by the observation we investigate the scalar unparticle effects, under the color charge of symmetry, in the CP violation in neutral B meson oscillations as well as the dispersive and absorptive parts of transition, which can be related to the CA directly. In order to illustrate the peculiar properties of unparticle, our analysis is carried out in two scenarios for the right-handed section: (I) and , where and are the couplings and flavor mixing matrix of left- and right-handed section, respectively; (II) and is completely a free parameter. In scenario I we found that the…
