Kyle J. Knoepfel (from the BABAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reviews measurements of inclusive semileptonic and radiative B decays, highlighting how moments of various distributions help determine fundamental parameters like CKM elements and quark masses.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of recent experimental results on B decay measurements and their implications for Standard Model parameters, including new preliminary CP asymmetry data.
Findings
Determination of $|V_{cb}|$, $m_b$, and Fermi motion parameters from decay moments.
Measurement of inclusive $B o X_s o ext{gamma}$ branching fraction.
Preliminary CP asymmetry measurement in $B o X_{s+d} o ext{gamma}$ decays.
Abstract
A mini-review of measurements of inclusive semileptonic and radiative decays is presented. The semileptonic mass moments are presented from Belle and BABAR. The inclusive gamma branching fraction is presented from Belle as well as a preliminary measurement of the direct CP-asymmetry of decays at BABAR. Fundamental Standard Model parameters and heavy quark parameters can be derived from the mass and lepton energy moments from decays and from the photon energy moments from decays. The values of the CKM matrix element , the -quark mass , and the Fermi motion of the -quark inside the -meson are presented based on a global fit to these moments by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group.
