TL;DR
This paper evaluates how well the T2KK experiment can detect or constrain specific non-standard neutrino interactions involving electron and tau neutrinos, under certain assumptions about their effects on neutrino propagation.
Contribution
It provides the first sensitivity estimates of T2KK to non-standard neutrino matter interactions with specific parameter assumptions.
Findings
T2KK can constrain |_{ee}| 1
T2KK can constrain |_{e}| 0.2
Sensitivity estimates depend on assumed matter effect parameters
Abstract
Assuming only the non-zero electron and tau neutrino components , , of the non-standard matter effect and postulating the atmospheric neutrino constraint , the sensitivity to the non-standard interaction in neutrino propagation of the T2KK neutrino long-baseline experiment is estimated. It is found that T2KK can constrain the parameters , .
