Effects of quark GPDs in meson electroproduction
S.V.Goloskokov

TL;DR
This paper investigates how quark generalized parton distributions influence meson electroproduction at intermediate energies, using the handbag approach to match experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of quark GPD effects in meson electroproduction within the handbag framework, aligning theoretical predictions with experimental results.
Findings
Good agreement with COMPASS and HERMES data
Quantitative insights into quark GPD contributions
Enhanced understanding of meson production mechanisms
Abstract
We analyze light meson electroproduction in the intermediate energy range where the quark contributions are essential. Our calculations are carried out on the basis of the handbag approach. We study cross sections and spin asymmetries for various vector and pseudoscalar mesons. Our results are in good agrement with COMPASS and HERMES experiments.
