TL;DR
This paper investigates the masses of axial-vector mesons within an extended linear sigma model for three flavors, providing initial results that contribute to understanding meson properties in quantum chromodynamics.
Contribution
It introduces an extended linear sigma model with vector and axial-vector mesons for Nf=3 and presents first mass predictions for axial-vector mesons.
Findings
Initial mass predictions for axial-vector mesons.
Extension of the linear sigma model to include vector and axial-vector mesons.
Foundational results for future detailed studies.
Abstract
We discuss an Nf=3 linear sigma model with vector and axial-vector mesons (extended Linear Sigma Model - eLSM). We present first results regarding the masses of axial-vector mesons determined from the extended model.
