TL;DR
This paper analyzes the physics of tunable bandgaps in bilayer graphene influenced by gate voltage and doping, comparing theoretical predictions with experimental data to validate the model.
Contribution
It provides a detailed discussion of the tunable bandgap physics in bilayer graphene and compares theoretical results with experimental data for validation.
Findings
Good agreement between theory and experiment
Confirmation of tunable bandgap physics in bilayer graphene
Insights into the effects of gate voltage and doping
Abstract
We discuss the physics of the tunable bandgap in bilayer graphene with the gate voltage and doping. A comparison with experimental data obtained by Kuzmenko et al [Phys. Rev. B \textbf{80}, 165406 (2009)] demonstrates the good agreement.
