Non-photonic electron-hadron correlations and non-photonic electron $v_2$ at STAR/RHIC
Gang Wang (for the STAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reviews non-photonic electron correlations and $v_2$ measurements at RHIC, providing insights into heavy quark energy loss, flavor contributions, and medium interactions in high-energy nuclear collisions.
Contribution
It presents the disentanglement of charm and bottom contributions to non-photonic electrons and analyzes their energy loss and flow in heavy ion collisions at RHIC.
Findings
B decay contributes about 50% at $p_T > 5$ GeV/$c$
Evidence of B meson suppression at high $p_T$ in A+A collisions
Preliminary $v_2$ of non-photonic electrons is lower than that of charged hadrons
Abstract
Non-photonic electrons (when 3 GeV/) represent the directions of the parent heavy quarks, and their angular correlations with charged hadrons provide a unique tool to study the relative contributions from and B meson decays in p+p collisions, as well as the flavor-dependence of the energy loss mechanism in A+A collisions. We review the disentanglement of charm and bottom contributions to non-photonic electrons in p+p collisions at GeV at RHIC. B decay contribution is approximately 50p_{T} > 5cp_T$ in heavy ion collisions. We also present non-photonic electron-hadron correlations in d+Au collisions as a baseline reference for the investigation of the heavy quark energy…
