Search for a neutrino flux from LS I +61 303 based on a time dependent model with IceCube
Levent Demir\"ors (for the IceCube Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports a search for neutrino emissions from the X-ray binary LS I +61 303 using IceCube data, but found no significant signal above background noise.
Contribution
It introduces a time-dependent neutrino flux model applied to IceCube data for LS I +61 303, providing a novel approach to transient source searches.
Findings
Results are compatible with background fluctuations.
No significant neutrino flux detection was made.
The method constrains neutrino emission models for LS I +61 303.
Abstract
We present a search based on a time dependent neutrino flux prediction from the X-ray binary LS I +61 303. Results from data taken with the 22 and 40 strings of IceCube are compatible with background fluctuations.
