Natural Inflation and Flavor Mixing from Peccei-Quinn Symmetry Breaking
Pei-Hong Gu, Manfred Lindner

TL;DR
This paper introduces a left-right symmetric model that links natural inflation and flavor mixing to Peccei-Quinn symmetry breaking, which can be integrated into SO(10) grand unified theories.
Contribution
It presents a novel model connecting inflation and flavor physics through symmetry breaking, compatible with grand unification.
Findings
Model successfully unifies inflation and flavor mixing mechanisms.
Compatible with SO(10) grand unification.
Provides a framework for Planck-scale symmetry breaking.
Abstract
We propose a left-right symmetric model to simultaneously give natural inflation and flavor mixing from a Peccei-Quinn symmetry breaking at the Planck scale. Our model can be embedded in SO(10) grand unification theories.
