TL;DR
This paper investigates deeply virtual Compton scattering on a deuteron, emphasizing the importance of twist three contributions for maintaining gauge invariance and exploring their sources.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of twist three effects in DVCS on spin-one targets, highlighting their role in preserving gauge invariance.
Findings
Twist three contributions are essential for gauge invariance.
Both kinematical and dynamical sources of twist three GPDs are analyzed.
The study enhances understanding of DVCS on deuteron targets.
Abstract
We study the deeply virtual Compton scattering off a spin-one particle, which is exemplified by the case of coherent scattering on a deuteron target. We discuss the role of twist three contributions for restoring the QED gauge invariance of the amplitude corresponding to this process. We consider both kinematical and dynamical sources of twist three generalized parton distributions.
