UHE neutrinos: higher twists, scales, saturation
R. Fiore, V.R. Zoller

TL;DR
This paper investigates how higher twist effects, due to non-conservation of the top-bottom current, significantly alter the longitudinal structure function and cross-section in ultra-high energy neutrino interactions, providing simplified formulas.
Contribution
It introduces new formulas for $F_L$ and $ u N$ cross-sections accounting for higher twist corrections at ultra-high energies.
Findings
Higher twist corrections dramatically change $F_L$ at ultra-high energies.
Derived simple, accurate formulas for $F_L$ and $ u N$ cross-sections.
Highlights the importance of non-conservation effects in neutrino interactions.
Abstract
It is shown that in the ultra-high energy neutrino interactions the higher twist corrections brought about by the non-conservation of the top-bottom current dramatically change the longitudinal structure function, . To the Double Leading Log Approximation simple and numerically accurate formulas for and are derived.
