Numerical Chaos in a Fractional Order Logistic Map
Joakim Munkhammar

TL;DR
This paper explores the dynamics of a fractional order logistic map, revealing its properties and demonstrating how it undergoes period-doubling leading to chaos through numerical analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a fractional order logistic map and analyzes its properties and route to chaos, extending classical logistic map studies.
Findings
Fractional logistic map exhibits complex dynamics.
Numerical evidence of period-doubling route to chaos.
Basic properties of the fractional logistic map identified.
Abstract
In this paper we investigate a fractional order logistic map and its discrete time dynamics. We show some basic properties of the fractional logistic map and numerically study its period-doubling route to chaos.
