New Double-Mode and Other RR Lyrae Stars from WASP Data
Patrick Wils

TL;DR
This paper reports the discovery of 95 RR Lyrae stars, including double-mode types, from the WASP archive, revealing a bimodal period distribution among Galactic double-mode RR Lyrae stars.
Contribution
The study identifies new RR Lyrae stars, including double-mode types, using WASP data, and analyzes their period distribution, providing new insights into their characteristics.
Findings
42 RRab stars identified
46 RRc stars identified
7 new double-mode RR Lyrae stars discovered
Abstract
42 RRab, 46 RRc and 7 previously unidentified double-mode RR Lyrae stars were found in the publicly available data of the WASP archive. The Galactic double-mode RR Lyrae stars appear to show a bimodal period distribution.
