Axial Symmetry, Anti-BRST Invariance and Modified Anomalies
Amir Abbass Varshovi

TL;DR
This paper explores the relationship between anti-BRST symmetry and axial symmetry in gauge theories, deriving modified anomalies through extended descent equations.
Contribution
It introduces an extended descent equation framework that produces modified consistent anomalies related to anti-BRST and axial symmetries.
Findings
Anti-BRST symmetry corresponds to local axial symmetry.
Derived a set of modified consistent anomalies.
Extended descent equations facilitate anomaly calculation.
Abstract
It is shown that anti-BRST symmetry is the quantized counterpart of local axial symmetry in gauge theories. An extended form of descent equations is worked out which yields a set of modified consistent anomalies.
