TL;DR
This paper develops a dual-Regge model with a nonlinear proton trajectory to describe low-mass single diffraction dissociation, providing predictions for LHC energies.
Contribution
It introduces a novel dual-Regge approach with a nonlinear trajectory to improve the description of diffraction dissociation data.
Findings
Successfully describes experimental data on low-mass diffraction dissociation
Provides predictions for high-energy LHC experiments
Demonstrates the effectiveness of the nonlinear trajectory in the model
Abstract
A dual-Regge model with a nonlinear proton Regge trajectory in the missing mass channel, describing the experimental data on low-mass single diffraction dissociation, is constructed. Predictions for the LHC energies are given.
