Cosmic Sum Rules
Mads T. Frandsen, Isabella Masina, Francesco Sannino

TL;DR
This paper introduces new cosmic ray sum rules to determine properties of unknown components, enabling predictions of positron fractions at unexplored energies and constraining theoretical models.
Contribution
The paper presents novel sum rules that connect cosmic ray properties, facilitating predictions and model constraints beyond current experimental data.
Findings
Sum rules enable estimation of unknown cosmic ray components.
Predictions for positron fractions at new energies.
Constraints on cosmic ray models.
Abstract
We introduce new sum rules allowing to determine universal properties of the unknown component of the cosmic rays and show how they can be used to predict the positron fraction at energies not yet explored by current experiments and to constrain specific models.
